BloqTek® is exclusive to BloqUV. UPF protection never washes out and fabric provides a cooling effect when wet with water or sweat. Fabrics are tested in accordance with AATCC TM 183 to ensure the UPF 50+ protection is as stated.
UPF is equivalent in ratings and capabilities to SPF for sunscreens. (An average white cotton white top only has a UPF of 5.)
